The fifth annual Create West Virginia Conference, scheduled Oct. 26 and Oct. 27 in Charleston, will host the first statewide crowd funding event and is offering an early bird registration discount.
Jeff James, Create West Virginia's team leader, said entrepreneurs, community leaders and educators can pitch their ideas for starting a business, a service or a project and win up to $2,500 in seed money to help launch it in the crowd funding event.
Applications are due by Oct. 5.
