Because of weather-related power outages affecting West Virginia customers, Verizon Wireless is offering charging stations for those needing to charge the battery on their wireless device.
Customers will be able to charge their devices this week, and warm up with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, at local Verizon stores.
In the Kanawha Valley, customers can visit the Charleston Town Center; 40 RHL Boulevard in South Charleston; 898 3rd Ave. in Pullman Square, Huntington; 4194 W.Va. 34 in Hurricane; or 123 Prosperity Lane in Logan.
Mobile X-ray firm to open on Dec. 1
Onsite Digital Radiology Services plans a "soft opening" for its mobile X-ray services on Dec. 1 with full implementation of services in the Huntington and Charleston areas on Jan. 1, said Rick Pulcrano, president and chief executive officer.
As previously reported, within a year the Huntington-based startup plans to provide 24/7 mobile digital radiography services to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice, home care and correctional facilities.
OnSite will be only the second statewide provider of mobile imaging services.
