CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Greenbrier Resort announced it will unveil a personal concierge and sales office today in downtown Washington.
The 700-square-foot-plus "Upper Lobby" drawing room, designed by Carleton Varney to mirror The Greenbrier's signature decor, is at 1427 H St., N.W. It will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m.
The "Upper Lobby" will be staffed with a personal concierge team that will be able to assist in booking individual rooms and groups at The Greenbrier, including special rates available only through the D.C. office. The concierges also will help Greenbrier-bound travelers arrange bookings with the resort's golf club, spa, casino and more.
Greenbrier owner Jim Justice told the Daily Mail in May that he would open regional offices for The Greenbrier, and that the first would be in Washington, D.C.
