The Kanawha Valley Community and Technical College will provide a project management class starting Feb. 8 and a certified personal trainer course starting Feb. 15 on its campus in the West Virginia Regional Technology Park, South Charleston.
The 30-hour project management class will combine e-learning modules, virtual classroom hours and a two-days hands-on project simulation, with personal instruction and mentoring by a project management expert. It will run from Feb. 8 to March 6.
The certified personal trainer course will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays from Feb. 15 to April 20. To receive national certification, students must pass the classroom and practical training course, as well as complete a 30-hour internship and obtain cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, and automated external defibrillator, or AED, certification.For more information about either course visit the website www.kvctc.edu/workforce or call 304 205-6690.
