East End Main Street launches new site

By From staff reports

Charleston East End Main Street on Monday launched its new website,, which features information on businesses and activities in Charleston's East End.

"The new website is a one-stop shop for everything one needs to know about the district and our organization," East End Main Street executive director Ric Cavender said in a press release announcing the website.

In addition to providing information on East End events and development projects, the website features an interactive registration and application process for individuals looking to sell items at the East End Bazaar.

In the coming months, developers hope to have a comprehensive list of East End businesses and their contact information posted to the website.

"We think the site will serve as a huge boost for businesses, residents, vendors and fans of the East End Bazaar, our many generous sponsors, and folks that have enjoyed one event or destination in the neighborhood and want to learn more," said Dickinson Gould, president of the East End Main Street board. The website was developed by Charleston-based MESH Design and Development. The project was funded through a Flex-E-Grant provided by the West Virginia Development Office.
