BB&T Bank Bus offers free tax preparation

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The BB&T Bank Bus will be at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital offering free income-tax preparation services from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 12.

BB&T has partnered with the Central West Virginia Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition to provide the free service to area residents with household incomes less than $51,000.

In addition to tax preparation services, visitors will also receive a copy of their credit report and assistance searching for unclaimed or foreclosed property.

Participants should bring a photo ID and Social Security cards for all family members who will be included on their income-tax returns. Individuals can pre-register for the service by calling Valicia Leary at 304-342-9515.
