The Better Business Bureau will host a Shred Day on Saturday at its parking lot at Boulevard Towers, 1018 Kanawha Blvd E., in Charleston.
Participants are asked to enter the lot off Leon Sullivan Way and exit onto Dunbar.
Businesses and individuals are welcome to bring old credit card statements, IRS tax records, credit card offers, or anything that lists personal information to be commercially shredded for free. Drop off will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The BBB will also be collecting old electronics to e-cycle. You may bring any of the following items: batteries, cable, CDs, cell phones, circuit boards, computers, consumer electronics, game consoles, ink and toner cartridges, IT equipment, keyboards, laptops, mice, modems, monitors, MP3 players, network equipment, phone systems, printers, routers, satellite boxes, servers, speakers, switches, telecom equipment, UPS units, video games and wire.For more information, visit http://canton.bbb.org/shred-day-events-2013/.
