The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce is offering a two-day general industry safety training workshop June 18 and 19 at the Summit Conference Center in Charleston.
The workshop is being held in partnership with FDR Safety LLC, a nationally recognized company specializing in safety and training. The course will cover a series of safety topics, hazards and prevention techniques.
It also will provide a review of U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
The workshop is taught by an OSHA-authorized trainer and designed for management, supervisors, safety committee members, health and safety coordinators, human resource managers, safety directors and any employee charged with overseeing safety.
Upon successful completion of the course, attendees will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry card.
The registration fee is $340 for state Chamber members and $440 for non-members.
