* J. Gregory Rosencrance, M.D., has been named interim associate vice president and campus dean for the Charleston Division of the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center.
A faculty member since 1991, Rosencrance is president & CEO of WVU Physicians of Charleston and serves as chief of staff-elect for Charleston Area Medical Center. He replaces Dr. Clark Hansbarger, who is retiring June 30.
* University of Charleston has hired Danny Meadows as its new director of international programs. A Fayetteville native, Meadows holds a bachelor's in French from Marshall University and master's degrees from Kent State in Teaching English as a Second Language and French.
He has taught ESL at Marshall, Georgia Perimeter College and Gordon College in Georgia, and taught English abroad in Tunisia. He most recently served as assistant director of the English Department at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in San Antonio, Texas.
* Jackson Kelly paralegal Karen Nichols has been named Paralegal of the Year by the Legal Assistant/Paralegals of Southern West Virginia organization.
An advanced certified paralegal with more than 30 years of legal experience, Nichols has been with Jackson Kelly since 2003.
