Outdoor retailer Cabela's Inc. has signed an agreement with prepaid product and transaction services company InComm to begin selling Cabela's gift cards through the InComm retail network.
Through the agreement, InComm will begin offering Cabela's gift cards at many of its retail partner locations, including CVS/pharmacy, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Office Depot, Sheetz, and Speedway.
"As we continue to expand our retail footprint, Cabela's wants to make our gift cards more accessible and convenient for our customers," said Tommy Millner, chief executive offer at Cabela's. "The new placement with InComm will allow us to distribute our gift cards through new merchants and further expand our network."
Most gift cards will carry $25 and $50 values. Select locations will offer variable-load cards that can be issued in amounts of up to $500.
As a result of the new partnership, Cabela's gift cards will no longer be offered at certain existing locations. However, the company said gift cards activated from these previous locations have no expiration date and are still redeemable online or at Cabela's 44 stores nationwide.
