CHARLESTON, W.Va. - NTelos Wireless announced last week it has become an official partner with Marshall University athletics and the official wireless provider of Marshall basketball.
The sponsorship, brokered by Marshall's multimedia rights partner IMG College, will bring nTelos advertising placements in all sports-related stadium, print, outdoor and digital outlets at the university.
As official wireless provider for basketball, the company will also have premiere signs within the Cam Henderson Center arena.
"We feel that this will be a relationship that benefits all parties," Marshall Athletic Director Mike Hamrick said.
"This partnership is a win-win proposition, and Marshall offers a great venue for nTelos to showcase the outstanding value of our wireless communication services," said Conrad Hunter, chief operating officer of nTelos Wireless.
Two contestants will be selected to participate in the Pass-for-Cash halftime contest Nov. 9 for a chance to win a trip for two to somewhere in the continental United States and up to $5000 in cash.
