Charleston law firm creates WVU scholarship

By From staff and wire reports

Charleston-based law firm Robinson & McElwee has established a $100,000 scholarship award program at West Virginia University's College of Law in honor of the firm's 30-year anniversary.

The Robinson & McElwee Scholarship will benefit first- and second-year law students.

Additionally, the firm has also created the E. Glenn Robinson Memorial Scholarship to benefit third-year students. Robinson, who died in February, was one of the firm's founding members.

"This gift ensures that Glenn's legacy and commitment to excellence in the legal profession will live on in future generations of lawyers," said Kent George, managing member at the firm. "It is a fitting tribute to a distinguished attorney."
