* Ellen Cappellanti has been elected as deputy managing member of the Jackson Kelly law firm, and is now in line to serve as the firm's chief executive officer.
Current CEO Mike Foster plans to step down Jan. 1, 2015 to return to practicing law full-time. The deputy managing member position was created to "groom" the next CEO for the role. Cappellanti has been with Jackson Kelly for more than 30 years.
