West Virginia University Institute of Technology will host an expert panel of employers during a special "Get Hired" event at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Student Success Center. The 13-member panel features employers from across the state with professional backgrounds representing a variety of majors including accounting, business, chemistry, health service administration, mechanical engineering, nursing and sport management.
Panel representatives include: Doug Damron, CDI; Barbara Douglas, WVU Tech; Gary Facemyer, Hatch Mott McDonald; Skip Lineberg, Spilman, Thomas & Battle, PLC; Tara Martinez, WV Women's Commission; Tom Minturn, Chick-fil-A; Julia Mitchell, Gibbons & Kawash, A.C.; Tim Mueller, WV Power Baseball; Tim O'Neal, Dow Chemical; Andi Reedy, WV Medical Institute; Greg Shrewsbury, Jacob Engineering; JoEllen Zacks, Charleston Area Alliance; and Chris Zuspan, Dow Chemical.
The program will also include an informal meet-and-greet session at 12:30 p.m. prior to the panel discussion. All WVU Tech students are encouraged to attend.
