Edwards and Margolin will work out of the firm's Charleston office, where Edwards will focus on business litigation and Margolin will focus on corporate and energy law. Bush and Cardi will work out of the firm's Morgantown office, where Bush will focus on energy and real estate law and Cardi will concentrate on business litigation.
Nathan Brown, Shereen Compton and Jason Proctor have joined the Charleston office of Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso as associates specializing in various areas of civil litigation.
Brown will focus on workplace liability, deliberate intent law, employment law and commercial and general litigation; Compton will focus on medical malpractice and Proctor will focus on product liability, commercial and general litigation.
Chase Holcomb and Nicklaus Presley have joined Jackson Kelly as associates to the firm's Charleston office.

Margaret Phillips, vice president for West Virginia University's Division of Human Resources, has been named HR Professional of the Year by the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
Phillips first joined WVU in 1982 and became the university's first human resources vice president in 2006. During her tenure, Phillips has overseen a total reorganization of WVU's human resources division and launched an award-winning veterans recruitment initiative.
The Chamber also recognized FirstEnergy Corp. as the 2013 HR Employer of the Year. The organization honored FirstEnergy for successfully implementing several HR programs to provide opportunities for returning military veterans and students, while also providing equal opportunity for all applicants and employees.
