* Kathy Cosco, former communications director at the state Department of Environmental Protection, is the new government and external affairs manager at Frontier Communications in Charleston.
A graduate of Marshall University, Cosco worked for 20 years as spokeswoman for Cabell Huntington Hospital. She has also worked in Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin's communications office and as communication's director for Sen. Joe Manchin's 2012 re-election campaign.
* Kristi Arrowood has joined the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation as Director of Development.
Arrowood, a certified development professional with more than 16 years of experience, will manage fundraising efforts for the hospital, the Hoops Family Children's Hospital and the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center.
* Dr. Toni Pacioles, medical oncologist and hematologist, has joined the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, Marshall Health and the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.
Dr. Pacioles specializes in providing care for adults with cancer, blood disorders and cancers in the digestive system. He also has a special interest in geriatric oncology, which is the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in elderly patients.
* Meagan W. Shepherd, MD, a fellowship-trained allergist/ immunologist, has joined Cabell Huntington Hospital, the Hoops Family Children's Hospital, Marshall Health and Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine to provide care for adults and children.
