PARKERSBURG, W.Va. -- Camden Clark Medical Center has received state approval to consolidate its two campuses.
A certificate of need issued by the West Virginia Health Care Authority says consolidating the Parkersburg hospital's St. Joseph's and Memorial campuses is expected to cost $47 million.
Last week's approval clears the way for construction and renovations to begin.
Camden Clark spokesman Tim Brunicardi tells the Parkersburg News and Sentinel (http://bit.ly/18tTwP9 ) that the consolidation is expected to take several years.
West Virginia United Health System merged Camden Clark with St. Joseph's Hospital in 2011 to form one regional medical center.
