East End Bazaar closes Saturday
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The final day of the East End Holiday Bazaar at the Clay Center will be this Saturday.
Seventeen approved East End Bazaar vendors, including visual artists, jewelers and clothiers, will be on hand to sell items during the final event 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This was the first year that Charleston's East End Main Street partnered with the Clay Center on the holiday-themed event. The bazaar kicked off on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30, and continued on Saturday, Dec. 7.
Ric Cavender, East End Main Street executive director, said the Holiday Bazaar was a perfect way to extend the regular East End Bazaar, which takes place outdoors along Washington Street during the summer and fall. "The Holiday Bazaar merges the funky, eclectic atmosphere that now has over 100 registered approved vendors at the East End Bazaar with the state's largest arts center in a warm, indoor setting," Cavender said.
