Six-year-old Nate Wilkinson's "Untitled" is among the bold abstracts the young painter, seen below, has on exhibit at Marshall University's South Charleston Campus Library.
Nate's texture study shows one of the techniques he has been learning with his private art teacher, building texture with paint.
Nate said he loves painting abstracts, though he also is learning to draw figures and people.
Nate, of Raleigh, N.C., will attend an opening reception for his art exhibit this weekend in South Charleston.
