Grammy-nominated singer Joan Osborne headlines a live show at Mountain Stage in Morgantown at 7 p.m. Sunday.
The Kentucky native has performed as a member of the Grateful Dead, toured with the Dixie Chicks and released a children's album and country record. Her major label debut, "One Of Us," became an MTV and radio hit and went on to sell 3 million copies. Her latest release, "Bring It On Home," is a collection of classic blues, R&B and soul songs.
Other acts Sunday include the Punch Brothers, an acoustic group led by mandolinist Chris Thile. Thile has garnered praise with his playing, such as a "Washington Post" critic's assessment that he "may well be the most virtuosic American ever to play the mandolin." With Thile are Chris Eldridge on guitar, Paul Kowert on bass, Noam Pikelny on banjo and Gabe Witcher on violin.
Also performing are jam-band mainstay Leftover Salmon, singer-songwriter Sylvie Lewis and Americana artist Lera Lynn.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. They can be ordered by calling 304-293-7469 or visiting ticketmaster.com.
