The Ritter Park Amphitheater will host 24 musical acts Friday during the third Huntington Music and Arts Festival.
Music will begin at 11:30 a.m. and end at 9:30 p.m. Bands include The Demon Beat, Bill Fox, The Carpenter Ants, The Heptanes, John Lancaster, Fletcher's Grove, Rozwell Kid, AC30, Qiet, Sly Roosevelt, Sasha Colette, the Magnolias, Blue Ring and Coyotes in Boxes.
There will also be an acoustic songwriter stage featuring Richie Tipton, Mark Smith, Grim Charles, Adam Benz, Modock Rounders and others.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets are on sale at Route 60 Music in Barboursville and The V Club and Black Sheep Burrito and Brews in Huntington. The concert is free for children 12 and under. Food and beverage vendors will be on site.
Attendees may bring water into the festival, but no outside alcoholic beverages are allowed.
Two pre-parties are planned. The first is scheduled for tonight at the V Club in Huntington with Brett Fuller's This Ain't No Disco show. Admission is $5 or free with the purchase of a festival ticket. The show is for those 18 and older.
The second is hosted at Black Sheep Burrito and Brews in Huntington and features an eight-piece jugband. There will be no cover charge.
An after-party begins at 10 p.m. Saturday at the V Club featuring The Phantom Six and Sangoma and the Dinosaur Burps. Admission is $5 or free with a festival wristband.
