The Haunted Barn at 426 Beauregard St. in Charleston's East End is now open, providing chills and thrills throughout the Halloween season.
The multi-themed haunted house includes live actors who interact directly with guests, special effects and animatronic props. Actors are allowed to touch guests during the walk-through.
The barn is open Saturday and Oct. 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 and Nov 3. Hours are 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and 7 p.m. to midnight Saturdays.
General admission is $10. VIP tickets are $20. VIP tickets include a coffin ride (a buried alive simulation,) Monster Maze and haunt. Tickets to the coffin ride and Monster Maze are also sold separately.
On Saturday, $1 of every admission will benefit the families of fallen West Virginia State Troopers Eric Workman and Marshall Bailey.
