'Creators Under the Tree' to feature works of local artisans and entrepreneurs

"Creators Under the Tree," an event featuring the works of local artisans and entrepreneurs, will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at West Virginia State University's Economic Development Center, 1506 Kanawha Blvd. W.

Admission is free to the event that will offer the opportunity to buy gifts created locally.

Arts Council of Kanawha Valley will hold its arts social during the event with local authors and musicians on hand to sign and sell copies of their work. The Creators Program is a spin-off of West Virginia State University's DigiSo initiative, a digital and social media incubator offering various workshops taught by local professionals.
