Beginning watercolor class available at Hansford Center

"Beginning Watercolor class I" will start from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Hansford Center in Saint Albans.

This is a five-week course for people who had no previous experience with watercolor painting.

All materials will be furnished. The class will cover color theory, composition, proper painting materials and techniques. Pre registration is required. The fee is $90.

The class will meet this Thursday and March 14, 21 and 28 and April 4.

Teacher, Brenda Beatty, holds a fine arts degree from West Virginia University and is a member of West Virginia Watercolor Society, West Virginia Allied Artists and The Art and Crafts Guild. She has exhibited statewide and has studied with many famous artists.
