"It's an interesting little show," Maley said. "You have to listen. Every night, something different pops up where I'll say, 'Has that been in there all along?' "
Maley said she fretted about learning lines after all these years and attacked the job methodically, learning one page at a time before she moved on.
She has enjoyed being back in the theater and isn't sure what her next role may be - perhaps not on stage.
"I'd love to go in there and play with their lights - and they need that. Every group in town needs volunteers to work backstage, to run lights, to hang lights. It's just a crying need," she said.
