Marshall University Chamber Choir to play in Hurricane

The Marshall University Chamber Choir will present Maurice Durufle's Requiem at 7 p.m. Saturday at Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church in Hurricane as part of the PipeSounds series.

Dr. David Castleberry directs the 35-voice ensemble, which has been featured in performances for the American Choral Directors Association, the Music Educators National Conference and the American Guild of Organists.

David Donathan, director of music at Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston, will accompany the choir on the church's Harrah organ.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and free for children. For more information, visit
