The Kanawha Players' production of Nathan Sander's "The Sugar Bean Sisters" continues at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the group's headquarters at 309 Beauregard St. in Charleston's East End.
The play is the story of the Nettles sisters, who are determined to escape spinsterhood by hopping the next spaceship out of town. Lead roles are played by Shayne Workman, Kat Johnson, Patricia Wehrle, Ginger Basham-Workman and Micki Maley.
