Advance ticket sales for "Girl On Fire," the West Virginia Symphony League annual fashion show will end Wednesday.
Tickets are $75 and be purchased online at http://www.wvfashionshow.com/.
The show, to be presented Thursday at Smith Company Motor Cars, features more than 40 local women who will present styles from 22 area retailers and custom designers.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a champagne reception and silent auction of designer bags filled with more than $16,000 in gift certificates and jewelry, followed by continuous runway production at 7:15 p.m.
Segments include "The Real Housewives of West Virginia," "Who Says it's a Man's World" and "Flower (Girl) Power."
The evening will end with a coffee and dessert party and a Pop Up Shop at which guests can purchase fashions directly from select retailers. A percentage of sales will be donated to the Symphony League.
Guests will also have the chance to cast their vote for a "People's Choice" award for their favorite look via text message. The winning retailer or designer will receive complimentary series tickets to the 2013-45 season of the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra.Parking is available at Kohl's. Guests will be transported to Smith Cars via a continuous shuttle.
