CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Charleston Light Opera Guild continues its presentation of "Evita" Friday through Sunday at the Charleston Civic Center Little Theater.
The performances Friday and Saturday begin at 7:30 p.m., and the Sunday matinee begins at 3 p.m. Performances are also scheduled at 7:30 p.m. May 17-18.
The show is based on the life of Eva Peron, the radio show host who became the wife of Argentine president Juan Peron. The story follows Eva from her teenage years to her death.
Emily Capece, Ryan Hardiman, Bill Rainey and Ted Brightwell are featured in the rock opera's main roles. All seats are $20 and may be purchased at the Little Theatre Box Office or by calling 304-343-2287.
