CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The sixth annual Charlie West Blues Fest is scheduled May 17-18 at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston.
Music will be performed from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. May 17 with Lil Malcom and The House Rockers, Davin and the Vagabonds, Brian Lee & the Power Blues band and Ana Popovic taking the stage.
Hours are noon to 11 p.m. May 18 with KJ Blues, Mojo Theory, Grand Marquis, Southern Hospitality, Mud Morganfield, Tinsley Ellis and Kim Wilson & the Fabulous Thunderbirds.
The event also includes the Blues on Greens Golf Tournament scheduled for May 16 at the Edgewood Country Club. Registration is $150 for individuals, $450 for individual-hole sponsorship and $1,000 for four golfers bronze star level.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Wounded Warrior Project, which serves veterans and service members with physical or mental injuries, illnesses or wounds related to their service on or after Sept. 11, 2001.
