The Alban Arts Center continues its presentation of Kenneth Graham's "The Wind in the Willows" this weekend in St. Albans.
The play was adapted by Alan Bennett and is a story of adventure, mystery and friendship.
Adam Bryan directs and the set has been built to come out into the audience on both sides for a theater in the round effect. The actors will be inches from the audience at times.
The large cast includes Kyle Casto as Mole, Loren Allen as Rat, Daniel Calwell as Toad, Anna Felty as Otter, Fiona Sullivan as Portly and Angel Gandee as Alberta, John Johnson as Badger, Nikki Williams as Chief Weasel, Olivia McCoy as Weasel Norman, Ostin Williams as Sergeant Fred Ferret and Faith Medley as Fox.
Show times are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and children 12 and younger. Call 304-721-8896. The theater is located at 65 Olde Main Plaza.
