The Charleston Light Opera Guild has announced the cast for the upcoming production of "Les Miserables."
Primary cast members include Ryan Hardiman as Jean Valjean, Chris Terpening as Inspector Javert, Emily Capece as Fantine, Beth Winkler Bowden as Eponine, Brynna Horswell as Cosette, Evan Sullivan as Marius Pontmercy, Jonathon Tucker Enjolras, Alan Pennington as Thenardier, Laurie Pennington as Madame Thenardier, Ted Rose as Bishop of Digne/Grantaire, Jamison Miller as The Foreman/Courfeyrac, Kris Corbett as Feuilly, Ethan Lyvers as Combeferre, Jean Prouvaire as Cameron Vance, Austin Thomas as Joly, Stephen Hayward as Lesgles, Rick Fleenor as Bamatabois/Babet, Mark Felton as Montparnasse, Tim Whitener as Fauchelevent/Brujon, Bob McCarty as Claquesous, Will Manahan as Gavroche, Andrea Parkins as Factory Girl, Bria White as young Cosette and Grace Javins as young Eponine.
"Les Miserables" tells the story of Jean Valejean, a burly French peasant of abnormal strength and potentially violent nature and his quest for redemption after serving 19 years in jail for having stolen a loaf of bread for his starving sister's child.
The production is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1, 2, 8 and 9 with matinee performances at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 and 10 at the Clay Center.
