The Flying Hillbillies Radio Control Club will host an air show and fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The club will conduct demonstrations showcasing giant scale and aerobatic radio controlled aircraft, jet turbines, racers and helicopters. Some of the aircraft have wingspans of more than 10 feet. There will be trainer airplanes with flight instructors and simulators the public can try.
The EMS Health Net helicopter and West Virginia Air National Guard mini C-130 transport plane will be on hand along with various children's activities. Food and beverages will be provided by Boy Scouts of America, Troop 17.
