Capital High puts twist on 'Charlotte's Web' with puppetry
Capital High School's fall theater production of "Charlotte's Web" incorporates an idea from the popular Broadway musical "Avenue Q," having actors perform as unhidden puppeteers. Director and theater teacher Kris Corbett said staging presents a challenge to his students, who must be mindful of their bodies in relation to their puppets at all times.
E.B. White's classic tale of the friendship between a pig and a spider living on a farm comes to life on stage at Capital High with a colorful set and hay setting the scene.
