CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Spend a fall afternoon enjoying the leaf changes and see a bit of local theater Sunday during the Carriage Trail Leaf Walk.
The free offering of FestivAll Fall takes place on the city's Sunrise Carriage Trail and includes vignettes by the Limelight Theatre Company, the Alban Arts Academy Acting Troupe and the Theatre Project from the Children's Theatre of Charleston.
Old-time Appalachian group the Modock Rounders and the Carriage Trail Horn Trio also will perform.
Sunday's event is a directorial debut for Travis Strom, who is bringing to life a scene his dad, Dennis Strom wrote. Dennis and Kelly Strom run The Limelight Theater and Travis is directing a vignette from "Boone," a screenplay Dennis wrote back in the 1990s. Dennis wrote a piece especially for Sunday.
