Tickets are available for the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Charleston Ballet's presentation of "The Nutcracker" Dec. 13 and 14 at the Clay Center.
Featuring a full live orchestra and more than 75 local dancers, as well as guest artists from the Columbia Classical Ballet and guest conductor Bob Turizziani, this production provides a one-of-a-kind experience for all audiences. It is directed by K. R. Pauley and features Olivier Wecxsteen as Drosselmeyer, Ted Brightwell as Mother Ginger and Rhiannon Turley as Clara.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13, and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 14. Tickets start at $24 for adults and $12 for children under 12 and are available through the Clay Center box office at 304-561-3570 or online at www.symphony.org.
