SCOTT DEPOT, W.Va. -- FedEx is expanding its presence in the Charleston area.

The company's ground and home delivery services are currently located in two separate buildings in Scott Depot.

But soon, they'll be under one roof in Cross Lanes as part of a $6 million expansion that includes a 57,000 square foot facility located near Nitro Market Place.

WCHS-TV reports (http://bit.ly/wb3elU ) that construction is set to start in early spring with a completion date set for fall at the latest.

FedEx officials told the television station that they don't know exactly how many jobs will be added but they're certain the expansion will require additional help.
