Students at thousands of schools across the country participated in International Walk to School Day on Wednesday. Third-, fourth- and fifth-graders at St. Agnes, a Catholic school in Kanawha City walk to mark the day. Carrying the banner and leading the group are Claire Bunn, left, and Madeline Hunt.
About 125 Chamberlain Elementary students walked along with parents and teachers. Reflective safety bracelets were given to all students, the adults wore safety vests, and a healthy breakfast was served following the walk.
