Stonewall Resort will celebrate Thanksgiving with a bountiful buffet and weekend of holiday activities.
The buffet will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 22, and reservations are required. The buffet features a variety of breads, salads, sides and several entrees including turkey and desserts.
Cost is $35 for adults, $16 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger. Each family will receive a pumpkin pie to take home.
Reservations may be made by calling 304-269-8880. The resort is offering private rooms and family-style food service for larger groups. Reservations should be made before Thanksgiving Day.
Activities continue Nov. 23 as guests watch West Virginia University take on Iowa State in TJ Muskies Lounge at 3:30 p.m. Holiday events begin at 6 p.m. with storytelling in the Grand Hall accompanied by cookies and apple cider. Guests then may watch "The Polar Express," which begins at 7 p.m.
Guests may participate in a variety of holiday craft demonstrations Saturday, including a wreath-making workshop, movies, recreational activities and a mixology demonstration on holiday martinis.
