A fire on Monday damaged the stern of Royal Caribbean's Grandeur of the Seas, seen docked in Freeport, Bahamas. The ship was forced to divert from its course to CocoCay and instead head for Freeport. No injuries were reported.
Charleston resident Tony Davis said passengers knew the situation was serious when the life boats aboard the Grandeur of the Seas were lowered. They waited four hours on the promenade while crews battled a fire at the ship's stern. IMAGE COURTESY of TONY DAVIS
