Charleston's natural gas filling station up and running
The station's pumps are capable of filling four vehicles at the same time. Two 250-horsepower compressors supply natural gas to the pumps, allowing them to fill a tank in roughly the same amount of time as it takes to fill a regular tank at a gasoline pump.
IGS Energy CNG Services has opened its new compressed natural gas vehicle fueling station located in front of the Foodland along Spring Street in Charleston. The station is open 24 hours a day and is currently selling fuel for $2.19 for each gasoline-equivalent gallon.
