DUNBAR, W.Va. -- A single vehicle accident that sent one person to the hospital briefly shut down both lanes of the Dunbar Toll Bridge Wednesday evening.
Dispatchers said the driver wrecked on the South Charleston side of the bridge at about 4:23 p.m. The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Both lanes of the bridge reopened at about 5 p.m.
The South Charleston Police Department investigated the accident.
