The Irish show, "Lord of the Dance," will come to Charleston for a one-night performance at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Clay Center.
Creator and artistic director Michael Flatley still oversees all aspects of the production. The 2013 tour boasts fresh costumes, a set featuring an LED wall and revised lighting and set designs.
The show is a classic tale of good versus evil based on mythical Irish folklore. Flatley handpicks the cast of more than 40 dancers. He conceptualized the show in 16 weeks.
The performance is part of the Broadway in Charleston series. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.
