Speakers of various faiths to speak on death and resurrection

St. Matthew's Episcopal Church will host a special Lenten program featuring various speakers on the topic of death and resurrection.

The program is set for this Wednesday and Feb. 27 and March 6, 13, and 20. A soup and salad dinner will be served 6:30 p.m. each day followed by the program at 7 p.m.

Speakers include Rabbi Victor Urecki, of B'nai Jacob Synagogue; the Very Rev. Olof Scott, of Saint George Orthodox Cathedral; the Rev. Ron English, interim minister of the Metropolitan Baptist Church; Msgr. P. Edward Sadie, of the Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart; and the Rt. Rev. W. Michie Klusmeyer, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of West Virginia.

The program is open to the public. A $3 donation is requested for the meal. The church is located at the corner of Norwood and Bridge Road in Charleston. The telephone number is 304-343-3837.
