CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Divers were searching for a missing boater in the Elk River near Clendenin after a raft capsized.
He was found alive about an hour after the incident.
It happened about 1:15 p.m. Monday near the Queen Shoals Bridge.
Two men were in the raft when the vessel capsized, Kanawha Metro 911 dispatchers said. One man emerged from the water, but the other did not immediately surface.
Boat crews were searched for the man. The Charleston Fire Department's Dive Team was also called out.
The man, whose name has not been released, was found alive about 3 p.m. walking down the railroad tracks, dispatchers said.
