CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston police have arrested a man on wanton endangerment charges in connection with an incident on the East End.
Kevin Maurice Watson, 27, of Charleston got into an argument with two people in the 1300 block of Quarrier Street about 5 p.m. Tuesday, said Sgt. Tony Hazelett, assistant chief of detectives. During the argument, Watson allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired two rounds.
No one was injured.
Detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest based upon their investigation.
Watson was arrested about 9 p.m. Tuesday when he reported to his place of employment, Hazelett said. He declined to say where Watson was employed.
Watson is being held in South Central Regional Jail.
