The Alzheimer's Association, West Virginia Chapter is inviting local caregivers to share their stories and participate in a listening session on Tuesday.
The session will begin at 5 p.m. at the Association's Charleston office, 1601 2nd Ave. Individuals and families who care for a loved one affected by Alzheimer's disease or dementia are encouraged to attend this session, which is targeted at improving care systems in West Virginia.
The session is part of an 18month planning project to improve care systems for persons with the disease and their caregivers and is funded through a grant from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.
