The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department is partnering with the National Restaurant Association in West Virginia to host a food safety training workshop Monday.
The workshop will be held 9 a.m. to noon Monday at the Charleston Civic Center.
Food service managers or employees from both Kanawha and Putnam counties are encouraged to attend.
Participants will receive a Basic Food Safety certificate or a food handler card up successful completion of the course.
The cost of the workshop is $5 for materials. Seating is limited to 200 participants.
