UPDATE: Body found on property of missing St. Albans woman

UPDATE: Media outlets are reporting that officers found the body of a woman in an outbuilding on Woods' property early this morning. They have not said whether the body is that of the missing woman, but they are now treating the case as a homicide. Check back later today for more information. 

 

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Authorities still are searching for a St. Albans woman who went missing Friday.

Eva Linda Woods, 59, of West Main Street near St. Albans was last seen walking outside her house Friday afternoon, Cpl. Brian Humphreys, Kanawha Sheriff's spokesman, said in a statement.

She is described as a white female with short, dark hair. There were conflicting statements on what she was last seen wearing.
