Photos: St. Patrick's Day partiers pack pubs

A group of party-goers heads down Washington Street East to the bars after registering for the pub crawl. This year's event saw a record-high number of registrations. East End Main Street Executive Director Ric Cavender said he didn't have a concrete figure, but that at least 1,000 people signed up. Many more enjoyed the festivities without signing up.

Allie Hughes The festivities lasted well into the night. One popular attraction was a coin toss from the roof of Bluegrass Kitchen. Those on the ground tried to catch the coins, some of which came with a special prize.
